SCRANTON, Pa. -- Lackawanna College, EPAC Player of the Year, Fitz Jolly has been named to the Dominica U20 roster for the 2018 Concacaf Under-20 Championship. This tournament will be played November 1-21, at the IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Florida.
"We are excited for Fitz to play for the Under-20 national team," said head coach Rudy Roediger. "As a program we strive to provide an environment that cultivates success, as we prepare our players for the next step as students, athletes and people. Fitz has earned this great opportunity. I know it means a lot to him personally, to represent his country."

2018 Concacaf U-20 Championship Roster by Position (Club or College)
Fitz, a native of Roseau, Dominica. He ended his Lackawanna career with seven goals, one assist and 22 points in 24 starts. In his final season for the Falcons, Fitz became the first EPAC Men's Division I Soccer Player of the Year, in the program's history. He helped guide Lackawanna to nine program single season and career records, playing in and starting 15-of-16 matches. The St. Marys Academy graduate netted a single-season career-high four goals, while also recording a career-high in points (13) while primarily playing defensive midfield.
The new Concacaf U-20 Championship format features four groups of six teams and two groups of five teams. Following round-robin group play, the top team in each of the six groups will advance to the qualification stage, where they will be divided into two groups of three. After a second edition of round-robin play, the two group winners plus the second-place finishers will qualify for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Additionally, the two group winners will advance to the tournament final to determine the regional champion.
All matches will be broadcast on Concacafgo.com and will be played at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
