Lackawanna Men’s Soccer Team claims Win over Albright JV

Scranton, PA - Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Falcons extended their winning streak to two games and claimed their second consecutive home win of the season, beating the Albright College Junior Varsity team, 4-0. The Falcons dominated the majority of the exchanges on the day and closed defensively by recording a shutout.

In discussing the game head coach, Justin Cardamone said "Today, was a thorough victory with great glimpses of individual and link up play". We still have some things to work but we have a lot of positives to take from today's match."

Today's Goals were Scored ,by:
1. Bryce Scofield off of a corner kick from Carlos Perez
2. Joshua Schliesing, off a long ball from Daniel Zuniga
3. Edmilson Centeio, on a one on one with the goalkeeper after a lofted pass from Prem Subedi
4. Jason Stephens, with a tap in inside the box off of a shot from Ryan Euell

Offensively, Lackawanna had 11 shots on goal to Albright's 5 SOG. Rob Kuzma Goalkeeper had 5 saves and recorded another win, his third of the season.

Lackawanna College is now 3-2 on the season. The Falcons next match is next Saturday when they travel to Newark, New Jersey to play Essex Community College in a Region XIX Division I match. Saturday's kick off is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
