  • O’Dell continues to Improve on National Stage

    Foley AL – Despite suspension of play for the second day in a row, Dylan O’Dell continues to improve his play in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Golf Tournament. Today, O’Dell carded a 79 for day three of the four-day tournament. His score gives him a three-day total of 248.
  • Foul Weather requires NJCAA to Make Cuts in DII Nationals

    Foley, AL – With inclement weather predicted for the Foley, Alabama area tomorrow, and the National Junior College’s Athletic Association’s express desire to complete its 72 hole tournament on schedule, the NJCAA has decided to initiate a 15+ cut policy for their National DII Tournament. That decision will cut teams to the top 15 and additional teams that are within 15 strokes of the leading team and to all individual players who are +15 or better for the tournament.
  • O’Dell has better Day Two in Nationals

    Foley, AL – Lackawanna golfer, Dylan O’Dell, had a better round during the second day of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Golf Tournament, despite an hour delay caused by a local thunderstorm an hour and half into his play. O’Dell finished with an 82, giving him a two-round total of 169.
  • Lackawanna’s Dylan O’Dell Tees Off in Opening Round of NJCAA DII Tournament

    Foley AL - Lackawanna College golfer, Dylan O’Dell finished round one of the National Junior College Athletic Association National Division II with an 87 at Glen Lakes Golf Club in Foley, Alabama. He was only five over par after his 14 holes, only to struggle the last few holes to finish 15 over par for the round. O’Dell looks to improve on that score over the final 54 holes left in the tournament. 
  • Falcon Soccer Standout Joshua Schliesing Signs with Nyack College

    Scranton – Sophomore soccer player Joshua Schliesing recently committed to NCAA Division II Nyack College to continue his academic and athletic career. A resident of Zermatt, Switzerland, Schliesing is a 6’1 athletic midfielder/forward who was a leader on the pitch for the Falcons the last two years. At Nyack, Joshua will be majoring in Business Administration Sports Management.
  • Lackawanna Golfers see Season come to an End in District H Tournament

    Cumberland, MD – The Lackawanna College Golf team saw their season come to an end in the final round of the National Junior College Athletic Association’s District “H” Golf Tournament. The Falcons shot a final round 364, which gave Lackawanna a tourney total of 730 and a last place finish in the three-team event. The Falcons low score was carded by Dylan O’Dell, who shot a 76 in today’s round. O’Dell’s two-day total of 160 was the third lowest of all the golfers participating in the tournament.
  • Lackawanna Golfers complete First Round of District H Tournament

    Cumberland, MD: Saturday morning, the Lackawanna College Gol team completed its first round of the two-day National Junior College Athletic Association’s District H Golf Tournament held at Cumberland Country Club in Cumberland, Maryland. The Falcons carded a team score of 366 with Dylan O’Dell leading the team with a low round of 84.
  • Lackawanna Golfers’ complete Regular Season

    Bethlehem, PA – The Lackawanna College golf team completed their Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference spring season with a team score of 370 in the Northampton Community College Invitational, played at Green Pond Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Mark Giglio carded the Falcons’ low score, an 87.

    New Tripoli, PA – Lackawanna College Golfer Dylan O’Dell took first place in the Lehigh Carbon Community College Invitational, an Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference golf event, played at the Olde Homstead Golf Course in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. O’Dell claimed first place honors by shooting a tournament low 76
  • Dylan O’Dell ties for Second

    Media, PA – The Lackawanna College Golf team finally got a chance to play a regular season match during its 2018 spring season. The opportunity was especially successful for Dylan O’Dell, who finished tied for second in the Delaware County CC Invitational, played at Paxton Hollow County Club in Media, Pennsylvania. O’Dell carded a 79.

    Fleetwood, PA – Tuesday, the Lackawanna claimed the Division II Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Golf Title after tying Division III Northampton Community College for the overall Tournament Championship. Both teams shot a tournament low 340

    Harrisburg, PA – Tuesday, Lackawanna Golfer Dylan O’Dell claimed a third-placethe finish after shooting a nine over par 81. In the two Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Tournaments, O’Dell has won one and finished third in the other.
  • O’Dell captures Lackawanna College Fall Invitational

    Factoryville, PA – Lackawanna College Golfer Dylan O’Dell claimed the individual title in this year’s Lackawanna College’s Fall invitational, shooting an even par 72., The team winner was Northampton Community College who edged out Harrisburg Area Community College for the title.  
  • Lackawanna College Men’s Golf Team to Hold Tryouts

    Lackawanna College Head Men’s Golf Coach Pat Lloyd will be conducting tryouts on Monday, August 28th at 3:30pm at Stonehedge Golf Club open to all male Lackawanna students. The men’s golf team competes in competitive Region XIX and has a strong tradition of developing golfers and placing them at four-year schools. This past season two members on the Lackawanna golf team qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Championship Golf Tournament held at the Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Arizona. All male students are encouraged to attend tryouts; scholarship money is available and this will be a great opportunity to have fun and learn to play golf at a high level.
