    Scranton, PA - Lackawanna College is pleased to announce the signing of Horsehead High School's Alan Diffenderfer to a National Junior College Athletic Association Letter of Intent committing him to play for the Falcons' 2017 – 2018 golf team.

    Mesa, AZ - Freshmen William Bastings and Dylan O’Dell gained substantial golfing experience through their participation in the four day National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Championship Golf Tournament held at the Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Arizona.
  • Lackawanna’s Third Round Results

    Mesa, AZ - William Bastings carded an 80 in the Thursday round of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Golf Tournament. His third round score gives him a tournament tally of 237 strokes. Bastings’ three round total has him tied for 81st place on the player leader board.
  • Lackawanna Golfers at halfway point of National Tournament

    Mesa, AZ – The Lackawanna College golfers completed their second day of play in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Golf Tournament. William Bastings shot a 79 to give him a two round score of 157; while, Dylan O’Dell carded an 81 to give him a two round total of 158.
  • Lackawanna Golfers score in the 70’s in opening round of NJCAA Nationals

    Mesa AZ ? Lackawanna College freshmen Dylan O?Dell and Williams Bastings carded rounds in the 70?s in their opening round of the National Junior College Athletic Association?s Division II National Golf Tournament, played this year at the Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Arizona. O?Dell shot a six over par 77; while Bastings, playing in the group behind O?Dell, carded a seven over par 78.
  • Lackawanna Golfers Bound for National Tournament

    Scranton, PA: Lackawanna College golfers, Dylan O’Dell of Forest City, Pennsylvania and William Bastings of Christchurch, New Zealand, are on their way to Mesa, Arizona to participate in the National Junior College Athletic Association’s 2017 Division II Golf Tournament. Both Bastings and O’Dell qualified for the national tourney by finishing third and sixth respectively in the individual standings of the NJCAA District H Tournament held at the Swan Point Yacht and Golf Club in Issue, Maryland.
  • Lackawanna Golfers finish in District H top Ten

    Issue MD – Due to injuries, the Lackawanna College golf team was not able to compete as a team in the National Junior College Athletic Association District H Championships. However those circumstances did not stop two of its individual golfers from excelling in the District Tourney. Both freshman William Basting of Christ Church, New Zealand and sophomore Dylan O’Dell of Forest City, Pennsylvania finished in the District’s top ten. Bastings finished third and O’Dell completed the two day tourney in sixth place.
  • Lackawanna claims Lehigh Carbon Invitational

    New Tripoli, Pa. - Friday afternoon, the Lackawanna College men's golf team captured the Lehigh Carbon Invitational played at the Olde Homestead Golf Course in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. The Falcons took the tournament shooting a team score of 312. The Lackawanna golfers were led by the tournament medalist Zach Sitzman who shot a one under par 71.
  • Golfers finish Second in DCCC Invitational

    Media, PA - Wednesday, the Lackawanna College golf team started its 2017 spring campaign with a 2nd place finish in the Delaware County Community College Invitational. The Lackawanna golfers shot a 337 and were edged out by Harrisburg Area Community College for the team title. Zach Sitzman had the Lackawanna’s individual low score with an 81.
