Lackawanna completes Second Day of Play at NJCAA DII National Tournament

Plymouth, IN – Three Lackawanna College golfers shot in the 70's during the second day of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Golf Tournament. Joe Hurn carded a 77 to give him a two day total of 149; Zac Moore a 79 to give him a two day aggregate of 150; and Tyler Salak, whose 78 gave him a total of 160 strokes.

Despite those three scores, Lackawanna College dropped to 16th place in the tourney. The Falcons carded a team second day score of 318 to give it a team score of 628 going into the third day of play.

Individually, Hurn's 149 has him tied for 21st place 12 strokes out of first place but only six out of second place. Moore's 150 has him one stroke behind Hurn and within striking range of a top ten finish.

Lackawanna has early tee times tomorrow, with Ryan O'Malley scheduled to tee off at 7:09; followed by Salak at 7:18 am; Moore at 7:27 am; and Hurn at 7:36 am.
