(Scranton, PA) – Saturday afternoon's game was a battle between Lackawanna College and County College of Morris. After 64 total fouls, split 32 apiece, Morris was able to come out on top 88-80. Lackawanna's record drops to 6-5 (4-2).
The first half of the game boiled down to shooting percentages. Morris managed to hit 15-33 of their FG's and 6-13 from three-point land. The Falcons managed to shoot 11-29 FG's and only sunk 3-13 three-pointers. Morris would lead going into half 46-35.
The second half of the game became much more aggressive for both sides. Both teams grew frustrated with the other as foul after foul was called during a very physical game in the later half. The referees called 64 total fouls by the end of regulation. Four players from Lackawanna and two players from Morris fouled out of the game. So much fouling resulted in a lot of free throws. Foul shooting was pretty much even as Morris went 26-42 (61.9%), while Lackawanna went 29-44 (65.9%). Keyon Faulkner-Smith helped the Falcons with 18 points overall, while Ransford Agyeman came up 17 by the end of the game. The Falcons couldn't hit any three pointers in the second half, missing all 8 attempted shots. Morris would hold tight to their lead, winning 88-80.

Lackawanna Basketball's next game is on the road; they will play Chesapeake College Tuesday December 18th at 6pm.
