Scranton, PA – Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team kept their 2017-18 home winning streak alive with a 75-72 victory over ASA College – Brooklyn. The win was far from easy, as the Falcons took their game winning lead with 32 seconds left in the game on a Ransford Agyeman two pointer from the key. ASA made three attempts to regain the lead in the subsequent possession only to have Stevan Rodriguez grab a defensive rebound with 7 tenths of a second left on the clock. An ASA foul, two successful Rodriguez foul shots and a wild ASA shot was all that Lackawanna needed to secure its 10th consecutive home win this season.

Falcon performances that significantly contributed to the Lackawanna victory were a 24-point 6 rebound effort by Rodriguez; a 14-point scoring afternoon by Keyon Faulkner-Smith; Agyeman's 12 points which included the go ahead points; and a team high 10 assists dished out by Javontay Pipkin.

Lackawanna's next game is Tuesday, when they travel to Newark, New Jersey to take on Essex County College. Game time for that contest is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
