North Branch, NJ – Down by 18 during the first half and trailing 42-29 at halftime, the Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team used a stout defense and a 54-point second half effort to beat Raritan Valley Community College 83-70. Key to the Falcons' turnaround was the double-double performance by Stevan Rodriguez. Rodriguez netted 25 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Also contributing in the comeback was J'von Winslow who put up 16 points and Keyon Faulkner-Smith who recorded 12. Also important to the Falcons' rally was the 10-rebound effort by Khristian Gill.

With the win, Lackawanna improved their conference win/loss record to 9-1 and kept pace with Manor College, both of whom are in first place in the Region XIX Division II standings.

The Falcons will get a break from Region play when they host CCBC-Catonsville on Thursday at the Lackawanna College Student Union. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
