Lackawanna loses important Region game to Del Tech

Newark DE: Saturday afternoon, the Lackawanna College men's basketball team lost an important game to Delaware Technical Community College 94-88, after fighting back from a 52-27 halftime deficit. The loss was important to Falcons since they will now have to play in a quarter final game in order to move on to the Region final four; and that quarter final games looks as though it will have to be played on the road.

The Falcons had five players score in double figures. Tops amongst those five was Jonathan Williams, who scored 20 points. He was followed by Gil Benz and Theron Reddy, both with 14 points; Cartier Talford with 13 and Justin Iton with 11. The teams leading rebounder was Khristian Gill with 12, while Reddy recorded a double-double with a team high 10 assists to go along with his 14 points.

The Falcons play a non-conference game on Monday when the travel to Sullivan County Community College. Game time for that contest is 7:00 PM
