Lackawanna Men to play Orange in Region Quarter-final

Scranton, PA – Wednesday morning, the Region XIX Division II Basketball Committee announced the seeding for its 2015-2016 Men's Basketball Tournament. The Lackawanna College basketball team was awarded a fourth place seed in the sixth team tourney and will play the fifth place seed, Orange County Community College, in a quarter-final game. That quarter-final contest will be hosted by Lackawanna at the Student Union this coming Friday and will start at 6:00 PM.

The winner of Friday's game will advance to a semi-final matchup with Essex County College, the tournament's number one seed. That contest is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 4th, at the tourney's host school, County College of Morris, on their Randolph, New Jersey campus.

The other bracket has the three seed, Raritan Valley Community College, playing Delaware Technical Community College, the sixth seed, in a quarter-final game, with the winner playing the number two team, Manor College, on March 4that 5:00 PM in the other semi-final game. That semi-final contest is also played at Morris.

The Region title game will be conducted at 1:00 PM on March 5th, at Morris.

On February, 4th the only contest that Lackawanna played against Orange, the Falcons won by an 87-77 score on the road.
