Scranton, PA: Sunday afternoon, Mark Perry scored a field goal with a little more than 10 seconds in the game, to give the Falcons a one point lead, while a stout Falcon defense caused Del Tech's Eric Pittman three-point attempt to go astray at the buzzer, to give Lackawanna College a 91-90 victory over Delaware Technical Community College. The win improved their Region XIX Division II win loss record to 5-4 and a third-place tie with Raritan Valley Community College standings.
Leading scorers for the Falcons in the win was Quintin Ward and Cartier Talford, both with 21 points. Also scoring in double figures were Mark Perry with 19 points and Jesse Huff with 12. Markel Epps led the Falcons with in assists with 9, while Perry led in rebounds with 9.
The Lackawanna men return to the court on Tuesday when they travel to Raritan Valley for a 6 PM tipoff.
