Falcons fall to Monroe Community College at Buzzer

Scranton, PA:  Despite a 21 point effort by Mark Perry, the Lackawanna College men's basketball team fell to Monroe County, College 74-72 on  a two pointer at the buzzer by the Tribunes' Romaine Thomas. The loss was especially disappointing since four other Falcons besides Perry had double digit performances in a contest that had 9 lead changes.

Those four shooting in double figures were Quintin Ward with 15, Mark Ray with 13, Markel Epps with 11 and James Ezell with 10. Ezell combined his 10 points with 11 rebounds to give him a double double.  Cartier Talford led the team in assists with 5.

The Falcons will have a short break from the court for their final exams. They will return to play on Thursday, December 10th, when they host Region XIX Division II rival Raritan Valley Community College at the Student Union. Game time for Thursday's game is 7:00 and will be preceded by the Lady Falcons, who will be hosting Community College of Philadelphia in a 5:00 PM contest.
