Lackwanna Falls despite Valiant Effort

Wayne, PA – Losing by 22 with 3:58 left in the game, the Lackawanna College men's basketball team went on an 18—4 only to run out time as they fell to Valley Forge Military College 93-87. The Falcons were led by Quintin Ward who was the team leader in scoring with 20 points, 14 of which came in the second half. Ward also led the Falcons in rebounds with 9.

Other notable performances recorded in the loss were Mark Perry with his 18 points and 8 rebounds and Markel Epps with points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

The loss leaves the Falcons with a 3-2 win/loss record. Unfortunately both losses came in conference play where they are winless.

Lackawanna hits the floor again when they travel to Randolph, New Jersey to play County College of Morris. Thursday's game is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
