Falcon's Sophomores to be Honored on Saturday

On Saturday, January 31, 2015 the Lackawanna College Sophomores will be honored for their commitment to the men's basketball program in a home contest against Burlington County College as they tip-off at 3:00pm in a Region XIX showdown. The Falcons will celebrate five sophomores that include Devon Howard, D'Armond Player, Josh Kahindo, Louis Walker and David Hartman for the unrelenting effort put forth each day on and off the court.

In conjunction to Sophomore Day, both the Lady Falcons and men's basketball team will also be celebrating the Ladies in Pink and Coaches vs. Cancer of Northeast Pennsylvania, where they will attempt to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and the local Coaches vs. Cancer organizations. Fans are asked to honor and show support for all survivors and people affected by cancer by wearing pink or white to the games. Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase t-shirts or sweets, at a jointly sponsored bake sale, on Thursday or Friday in Lackawanna College's Angeli Hall; or on game day at Lackawanna College's Student Union. All proceeds from these contests will be donated to the Ladies in Pink and Coaches vs. Cancer of Northeast Pennsylvania. For event information, click on link below
