Falcons Fall to Essex Community College

The Lackawanna College Men's Basketball team took their archrival Essex County College into the final minute of play,before falling to Wolverines by an 84-78 score. Kyle Menard and Mark Perry excelled in the loss, as each recorded a double-double in points scored and rebounds. Menard scored 21 and grabbed 11 rebounds; while Perry netted 10 points to go along with his 11 boards.

In addition to Menard and Perry, three Falcons scored in double digits. D'Armond Player had 15 points to go along with a team high 7 assists; Travaun Coad contributed 14 Points; and, Marquise Caudill ended the evening with 12.

The Falcons go out of conference on Saturday when they host NJCAA Division I opponent, Monroe College, at the Student Union. That contest will be the second game of the afternoon and will be played immediately after the women's contest.
