Caudill Named EPAC Athlete of the Week

Scranton, PA: Both the Men's and Women's Basketball teams made news on Wednesday despite the fact that both teams won't see action again until the start of the spring portion of their 2014-2015 season. Men's forward, Marquise Caudill was named player of the week for his performance during the week of December 8th through 14th; while the Women's team moved from 19th to 18th place in the most recent NJCAA DII rankings.

Caudill was honored despite a 62-60 team loss to Burlington and an 81 – 70 defeat by Del Tech Stanton. In those two games Marquise Caudill totaled 30 points, 26 rebounds 3 assists and 4 steals. Twenty (20) of those points, Twenty-one (21) of the rebounds, three of the assists and three (3) of the steals were recorded in the game against Del Tech – Stanton.

The Women's team moved up a place in the poll after registering a 61-45 win at Burlington and a 70-43 victory over Del Tech Stanton. The two victories gave the Lady Falcons a 12-1 overall win loss record and an undefeated 8-0 record in Region XIX DII play. The Falcons only loss came at the hands of Monroe Community College; the NJCAA's sixth ranked team in that same Division II poll. Like the men's team, the women will not return to the court until January.
