Scranton, PA – The Baltimore Ravens made former Lackawanna College lineman Jermaine Eluemunor the 159th pick in this year's National Football League draft, drafting him as their fifth round pick. Eluemunor was a starter at Lackawanna during both the 2012 and 2013 season and was named to the All Northeast Football Conference 2nd team for his play during the 2013 campaign. Upon graduation he transferred to Texas A&M University, where after a redshirt year in 2014, he played in all 13 games during the 2015 season. During that year, Eluemunor received his first career start in the Music City Bowl against Louisville University. As a senior, he started in in 12 of A&M's 13 contests, 3 at Right Guard and 9 at Right Tackle.
Eluemour joins former Falcons Lorenzo Taliaferro and Jarell Broxton in Baltimore. It also makes three former Falcons playing offensive line in the NFL; Eluemour, Broxton and Seattle Seahawks' offensive guard, Mark Glowinski. There are presently five former Falcons under contact in NFL, the four named above and Kevin White of the Chicago Bears.
