Former Lackawanna Offensive Lineman, Jermaine Eluemunor, invited to NFL Scouting Combine

Scranton, PA: Wednesday, the National Football League announced that they have invited 330 college players to the 2017 Scouting Combine being held at Lukas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 28th through March 3rd. One of those player invitees was offensive lineman, Jermaine Eluemunor, a 2013 midterm graduate of Lackawanna College. Eluemunor is one of forty seven offensive lineman who garnished an invitation.

Eluemunor was a starter at Lackawanna during both the 2012 and 2013 season and was named to the All Northeast Football Conference 2nd team for his play during the 2013 campaign. Upon graduation he transferred to Texas A&M University, where after a redshirt year in 2014, he played in all 13 games during the 2014 season. During that year, Eluemunor received his first career start in the Music City Bowl against Louisville University. As a senior, he started in in 12 of A&M's 13 contests, 3 at Right Guard and 9 at Right Tackle.

The last former Falcon players to attend the Scouting Combine did so in 2015. They were Kevin White, a wide receiver, who was subsequently drafted by the Chicago Bear in the first round of the NFL draft, fourth overall; and Mark Glowinski, an offensive lineman, who was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 4th round, 134th overall.
