Lackawanna College announces National Letter of Intent signing day event

SCRANTON, Pa. – In its continued tradition of excellence, nearly a dozen members of the Lackawanna College Falcons football team are set to sign their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 as they plan to continue their athletic and academic careers at some of the most notable institutions in the country. These outstanding student-athletes will join a number of players who already made mid-year commitments at the conclusion of the Fall 2016 semester.

The College will recognize its student-athletes during a ceremony in the Peoples Security Bank Theater at Lackawanna College in Angeli Hall, 501 Vine St., Scranton, beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

In recent years, the College has sent students to colleges and universities including, but not limited to, Baylor University, Penn State University, the University of Oklahoma, Texas A&M and West Virginia University.

The Media is invited to attend, as well as Lackawanna faculty, staff and students.
