  • Spring Semester Comittments

    Scranton, PA - Lackawanna College is honored to announce that during the 2017 Spring Semester, five additional members of its 2016 football team have committed to play on the next level. This makes 26 Falcons from last year’s squad, who have moved on to four year institutions.
  • Former Falcon Drafted by Baltimore.

    Scranton, PA – The Baltimore Ravens made former Lackawanna College lineman Jermaine Eluemunor the 159th pick in this year's National Football League draft, drafting him as their fifth round pick. Eluemunor was a starter at Lackawanna during both the 2012 and 2013 season and was named to the All Northeast Football Conference 2nd team for his play during the 2013 campaign. Upon graduation he transferred to Texas A&M University, where after a redshirt year in 2014, he played in all 13 games during the 2015 season. During that year, Eluemunor received his first career start in the Music City Bowl against Louisville University. As a senior, he started in in 12 of A&M's 13 contests, 3 at Right Guard and 9 at Right Tackle.
  • Lackawanna College announces 2017 Football Schedule

    Scranton, PA -The Lackawanna College football team announced their 2017 schedule for the upcoming Football Season. The Falcons will start their 2017 campaign on Labor Day weekend with a home game against Gattaca on Saturday, September 2nd.
  • Former Lackawanna Offensive Lineman, Jermaine Eluemunor, invited to NFL Scouting Combine

    Scranton, PA: Wednesday, the National Football League announced that they have invited 330 college players to the 2017 Scouting Combine being held at Lukas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 28th through March 3rd. One of those player invitees was offensive lineman, Jermaine Eluemunor, a 2013 midterm graduate of Lackawanna College. Eluemunor is one of forty seven offensive lineman who garnished an invitation.
  • Lackawanna College’s Mark Duda to be honored by ECAC

    The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced that Mark Duda, Lackawanna College’s Head Football Coach, has been selected as the American Football Network’s JUCO Coach of the Year. This award will be presented to Duda at the annual Eastern College Football Awards Banquet on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Coach Duda is being recognized for leading his team to a 10-1 record and winning the Northeast Football Conference this season. The Falcon’s only loss came in double overtime during the Valley of the Sun Bowl, as Lackawanna battled Mesa Community College in Mesa, Ariz.

    SCRANTON, Pa. – Ten outstanding student-athletes from the Lackawanna College Falcons football team signed their National Letters of Intent today, Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 to continue their athletic and academic careers at some of the most notable institutions in the country.
  • Lackawanna Foursome receives All American Honors

    The National Junior College Athletic Association has announced its Football All Americans for the recently completed 2016 football season. Four Lackawanna players were amongst those receiving that honor.
