(Philadelphia, PA) – Lackawanna College's first game of the season was played on the road against Bucks County CC. The Falcons won their season opener 14-4 and start off the year with a 1-0 record.
Lackawanna Baseball started out the season scoring 14 runs, as Marlon Lindsey was credited with 5 RBIs. Lindsey went 2-5, hitting a 3-run homer to left center field. Thylar Summarell also collected 3 RBIs over his 3-4 day.
Pitching was spread around for Lackawanna as they sent 6 players to the mound Wednesday afternoon. Jacob Rajsigl and Brandon Kohn saw the majority of the work, they pitched 2.1 innings each. The Falcons pitchers also combined for 21 strikeouts. Lackawanna defeated Bucks County CC 14-4.
