Lackawanna falls to Northampton

Scranton, PA – Thursday afternoon, the Lackawanna College baseball team fell to Northampton Community College in a game played at PNC Field in Moosic, Pennsylvania. The Falcons were outscored by Northampton 9-1 in the nine inning contest.

Elijah Baez suffered his first loss of the year after giving up five runs on nine hits over five innings. Baez now has a 4-1 win/loss record.

At the plate, Lackawanna was limited to seven hits, with Zach Lopatka and Jahmoi Percival contributing five of those hits. Both Lopatka singled three times, while Percival singled twice in five at bats. The Falcons only run was driven in by Dustin Wilcox's second inning single.

Lackawanna is scheduled to finish their regular season Saturday with a doubleheader at Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania. This twin bill is scheduled to start at 12 PM.
