Lackawanna Falls Twice to Globe

Jamaica, NY –The Lackawanna College baseball team fell to Globe Institute of Technology in both games of their Wednesday afternoon doubleheader. The Falcons lost the opener by a 6-3 score and again in the nightcap by a 7-0 tally.

In the opener, Max Frederick was the losing pitcher. With today's decision, He now has a win/loss record of 1-2.

Zach Lopatka was the Falcons top batter with a double in three at bats and three RBIs.

In game two, Joshua Breittholz took the loss, his first of the season.

At the plate, the Falcons were limited to three hits, all singles by D'Quan Matthews, Shane Rivenburgh, and Charlie Hessil.

Lackawanna returns to the field on Thursday when they travel to Bayside, New York to play Queensborough Community College in a 2:00 PM twin-bill.
