With the game tied at 9-9, Drake entered the game the contest and hurled the final five innings yielding no hits and shutting out the Colts. He struck out eight and gave the Falcon hitters the opportunity to out hit Orange for a nine run victory. Drake was credited with the win.

Hogan's homer was a two run shot in the third, while Noble's four bagger was a solo blast in the seventh. Three other Falcons had two hit contests where each contributed both a single and double. Those three were Joe Spitaleri, Arbely Soto and Jason Barton. Eric Grabowski had Lackawanna's only triple of the day, which he combined with a single and double for a hitting performance that came up a homer short of hitting for the cycle.
