Lackawanna Loses to Elgin in Spring Trip Final

Myrtle Beach, SC – Saturday morning, the Lackawanna College Baseball team ended their 2015 spring trip with a 5-1 loss to Elgin Community College.

Initially, the Falcons took a one run lead in the first inning when Rasheed Noble slammed a solo home run. Unfortunately for Lackawanna, it was their last run of the contest, while Elgin scored four in the bottom of the second and another in the sixth.

Noble's homer was one of three hits that Lackawanna generated. The other two were a Nick Hogan Double in the second and a Michael Villa Single in the sixth.

Trevor Bridgen started for the Falcons and suffered the loss after going four inning while yielding four runs on six hits, four of which came in the second inning. He recorded two strikeouts. Anthony Hernandez relieved for Bridgen to start the fifth and hurled two innings relinquishing one run on one hit.
