Lackawanna College athletics is pleased to announce the signing of Moriah Lynn. Lynn is transferring to Lackawanna College to play bowling, softball, and soccer.
Although it is not unusual to have a two sport athlete at the junior college level, Lynn has selected to play three sports. One of the three sports is women's bowling where Moriah is the first ever signee as the 2016-2017 season is the inaugural season.
Prior to transferring to Lackawanna College Lynn played one year of softball at Penn State Hazelton. As a freshmen 3rd baseman at PSU-Hazelton she played in 41 games, and established a .382 batting average which included 55 hits and 144 at bats, 9 doubles, 3 triples and 2 homeruns. Lynn also drove in 23 runs and scored an additional 42 times.
While a student at Berwick Area High School she played four years of varsity softball and was a member of the bowling team for three years.
Commenting on her decision to play women's soccer Coach Tory Pomeroy had this to say "Moriah is an all-around athlete that will help take our women's programs to the next level".
